The monitoring service is entirely free. We will never ask you for payment to monitor if you were subject to the Equifax breach.

No. We are not a law firm or collection agency, and we have no intention or desire to initiate any legal proceedings.
If you'd like, and this is totally optional, we can ask them by you assigning your claims to us in return for the consideration of the monitoring we provide and a possible future payment per our terms. Please keep in mind we are not a law firm or collection agency and have no desire or intention to begin legal proceedings. A negotiating table is often faster and more effective than years of litigation. You do not have to request this service from us to request monitoring.
Due to the high volume (143 million people's data was breached!), and our process to attempt to verify data and requests, it may take a while to get results.
